Lake

Calvary Lake

The eight-acre man-made lake gives our community its name, provides a place for quiet fishing and boating, and serves as home for a variety of wildlife. All residents have walking access to the lake via a short path that begins on Unity Trail (see the subdivision map above). The path leads to the top of the dam, where there is a gazebo with seating and stairs to a dock providing water access.

The lake is a key asset of the community and directly affects the property value of each home in the subdivision. As such, Lake Rules have been established for the orderly use and enjoyment of the lake.

The lake is managed by the Lake Maintenance Committee. For a listing of the committee members and to view materials related to maintenance of the lake, see the Committees section of Association page.

Swimming Pool

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, or longer if weather conditions permit. The pool operating hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. Restroom and shower facilities are available for use during hours of operation.

Be sure to read the Pool & Tennis Court Rules for important information before using the pool facilities. Also before planning group activities in the pool area, see the rules limiting private Pool Parties to make sure your event will be a success.

POOL PARTIES

The Pool will not be available for private parties involving non-residents on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays without approval from the CLHOA. The request for party approval must be delivered to the Chairman of the Pool & Tennis Committee not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the party. Any party involving non-residents is limited to no more than fifteen (15) people. Although private parties are permitted, Calvary Lake residents will still have access to the Pool during the parties. A deposit of $130.00 will be required upon approval. The deposit, if needed, will cover the cost of cleaning the restrooms ($75.00) and Pool ($55.00). The CLHOA requires the following information in writing to grant proper approval:

1. The time and date of the party, and the address of the home sponsoring the party.
2. The number of people who are scheduled to attend.
3. The general age group of the people scheduled to attend.
4. Any special admission instructions.

When scheduling a party, submit the above information in writing to Joe Haines, Chair of the Pool & Tennis Committee, by email (Pool@calvarylake.com), mail, or hand delivery.
